The MSIR program is a flagship human resources and labor relations program and among the few full-time human resources nd industrial relations programs in the country.
Celebrate this major milestone – the MSIR 60th Anniversary – by supporting student experiences and continued program development. Sustaining and growing experiential learning activities and opportunities within the MSIR program gives WVU students a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
- The Collective Bargaining Simulation, is an experiential learning activity in which students have the opportunity to research issues, develop bargaining positions, create a strategy for success, and then implement that strategy in a real-life situation facilitated by experienced industry contract negotiators.
- The General Electric Interview Competition, is a mock interview simulation where all students in the MSIR program act as the recruiters as a part of the Talent Acquisition course.
- The Practicum Series, gives students exposure to industry professionals in all facets of human resources, along with different problem-solving cases from the companies those volunteers represent.
The MSIR program has maintained a distinguished reputation for the past 60 years through growth and adaptation. Your support ensures that current and future students will be leaders in their fields. Make a donation to the Funds for the Future Campaign by clicking below.
